Spur Ranch Road - Weekend Update

Dear neighbors,

Over the weekend, the road crew will be completing work on the last segment of Spur Ranch Road, which is the last 1/4 mile west of the RR tracks. The remainder of the road has been completed and is wonderfully smooth.

 

During working hours of 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., for Saturday and possibly Sunday, Spur Ranch Road will be closed for all residents west of  Rancho San Lucas. This includes all the Tierrra Colinas residents and homes west of the RR tracks. These residents should use Avenida de los Compadres.

 

Rancho San Lucas residents can use either SRR or Avenida de los Compadres, since they will be in the middle of the road segment being worked on. I suggest these residents park their vehicles on SRR west of the RR tracks (near the mailboxes) and just walk to their homes. It’s only a hundred yards or so, the exercise will do you good, and you won’t get mud all over your cars and have to work around road equipment.

 

SRR will open fully to traffic after 5:30 p.m., as before. Also, Avenida de los Compadres has been freshly graded and is drivable for all traffic. There are two short sections (about 10-12 ft), where the road is still a bit mushy, but you shouldn’t have any trouble moving through those. Just keep your speed up and don’t try to stop.
