Dear Neighbor,
Avenida Compadres is the road at the west end of Spur Ranch Road (across from Spur Ranch) that goes north to Avenida Eldorado). The poor condition of this road has been a continuing concern to us because it is the only secondary escape route for residents on the west end of our road, in the event of a fire or flooding. I'm pleased to report that, as of this week, Avenida Compadres has now been repaired and is accessible to all vehicles. This improvement is thanks to our good neighbor and developer Russ McMillan. I wish we could report that the repairs to the road will be permanent, but short sections are likely to turn into muddy ruts in the event of substantial rain. However, we encourage residents and, especially, construction vehicles to use Compadres whenever feasible, in order to reduce wear and tear on our road.
