Spur Ranch Road Reduced to One Lane Expect delays during road work

SANTA FE, NM - A contractor hired by Santa Fe County will reduce traffic on Spur Ranch Road at the railroad crossing to one lane, beginning Thursday, October 24, 2019. The lane closure is required to install a new culvert. The project is scheduled to begin on October 24 and be completed by October 25.
The contractor will have traffic control and flagging operations on site during the road work. Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists should expect delays in the work zone. Access for residents will be maintained at all times.

NOTICE: Construction Activity 10/24-10/25 Rail Road Crossing

To SRRA Members:

Please be aware that on 24 and 25 October the company implementing the Rail Trail upgrade will be installing a culvert across Spur Ranch Road immediately west of the Railroad Tracks. The construction is being undertaken under contract with Santa Fe County and is being monitored by ‘Trails and Open Space’ personnel of Santa Fe County.  The culvert installation plan is designed to keep one lane of traffic open at all times but please be aware that ignoring the stops signs at the level crossing may be unwise (as always) but especially during this construction phase of Rail Trail upgrading.
